Sharon Roberts grew up on a farm and has lived in the Ansley area since she was a young child.  She graduated from Ansley Public School and went on to spend several years working as a farmer full-time before becoming an insurance agent over 28 years ago under the previous owners of our agency.  In 2010 she partnered with her son to purchase Insurance of the Heartland.  Sharon is married to Tom Roberts and has three children and five grandchildren.  She spends her free time with her family and is very involved with area youth through 4-H and FFA programs by volunteering her time at the Custer County Fair for the last 20 years and counting.

Brian Roberts grew up on a farm near the Ansley area. He graduated from Ansley Public School in 2000 and then went on to attend the University of Nebraska- Kearney to recieve his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance. Since graduation in 2004 Brian has worked in the finance and insurance industries, and in 2010 he purchased Insurance of the Heartland with his mother Sharon Roberts.  Brian is married to Lindsy Roberts and lives in Ord.  In his free time he loves to travel as well as acting as a board member for area organizations.

Karissa Marshall was raised in the Broken Bow area where she attended Anselmo-Merna Public Schools, graduating in 2001. She then went on to attend Chadron State College where she received a bachelor’s degree in Art with an emphasis in graphic design. Karissa joined the Insurance of the Heartland in 2012.  She enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, and riding motorcycles.

Emily Dethlefs grew up on a ranch near Hershey, raising and showing cattle. She graduated from Hershey Public School in 2015. After high school Emily attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Child, Youth, and Family Studies with minors in Education and Psychology. Upon graduation in 2020, Emily moved to Ansley and began working at Ansley Public School as a substitute teacher and staff at the after-school program. Emily joined Insurance of the Heartland as an agent in 2022. Emily will be marrying Ben Johnson this June and live near the Johnson farm south of Ansley. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs or doing anything outdoors.

Kiley Miller

Kiley Miller grew up on a farm near Ansley. She graduated from Ansley Public School in 2004. After high school Kiley attended Southeast Community College to receive her Associates Degree in Human Services as well as her Medical Assisting license. Kiley has been in the health industry for 14 years, which helps her bring a lot of personal relation and customer service skills to the office. Kiley has been an insurance agent for Insurance of the Heartland since 2018.  Kiley is married to Levi Miller and has three children.  She spends her free time with her family and enjoys the outdoors
